Maximizing Mailing Costs for Catalogs: Tips from Pampered Chef Experts

In summary, to save money on mailing costs when sending out catalogs, Pampered Chef suggests using bulk mailing services, investing in high-quality mailing lists, considering postcards instead of catalogs, utilizing online catalogs, and partnering with other businesses. It is worth investing in a professional mailing service for their expertise and resources. The frequency of catalog mailings should be balanced between staying top-of-mind and avoiding overwhelming customers. Personalization can also help save on mailing costs. To track the effectiveness of catalog mailings, include a unique promo code or coupon, use tracking URLs, include a survey or feedback form, and track sales and customer engagement.

I know there has been several discussions on mailing catalogs but we never mail out. Here's my questions:

I have one host who manages 15 Dental Offices and wants us to send her 15 catalogs. What is the best way to do this price wise.

I also have a host who is having a party and many of the friends are all over the country. If any of them decide to have a catalog party for her what is the best way to send say 5 catalogs and the other paperwork we need to send.

Thanks for everyone's wisdom!

get the free priority cardboard mailers from the post office. postage is $4.60
it will hold many catalogs 6 -8 with the invitations & paperwork needed.
When I go in I get anywhere from 6 -12 from the guy and buy the stamps so I just have to hand it over to them.

The priority envelopes are the best deal, especially the flat rate, as you can send as much as you can stuff into the envelope for about $5.for the individual ones, first class is really the only option. Can't send catalogs media mail, and bound printed matter isn't guaranteed within a reasonable amount of time. They'll be about $1.50 each.

Mailing CatalogsBumping this...

Can I mail a full-size catalog in the mail or should I send it in an envelope??

It really needs to be in an envelope. Probably cost you around $1.50 or so.

Thanks Lamar!!!
