Actually my Self Sharpening Knives have corroded a bit any ideas on that too?
Thanks~Kacey

Just thought I would mention that you could do that with the new one, it doesn't help you with the old one though...
It is recommended to clean your trivet and knives after each use to prevent buildup of food residue and maintain their appearance.
For trivets, simply wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild soap. For knives, hand wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately. Do not soak or put them in the dishwasher as it can damage the blades and handles.
If there are tough stains or residue on your trivet, make a paste with baking soda and water and gently scrub the affected areas. For knives, use a soft sponge or brush with a mixture of baking soda and water. Always rinse and dry thoroughly.
Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on your trivet and knives as it can damage the surfaces. Instead, use mild soap and water or a specialized cleaner specifically designed for kitchen tools.
To prevent rust on your trivet and knives, make sure to dry them completely after cleaning and before storing. If rust does occur, use a rust remover specifically made for kitchen tools and follow the instructions carefully.
