After a round-about trip, including an unscrupulous animal control officer, a lost dog has finally been returned home! According to Paw Nation, a Yorkie named Shai has been returned home, after nearly moving to Florida.
Shai escaped through an open door and was picked up by an animal control officer who then gave the dog away to friends, as a gift! Janet Torren was beside herself, but never gave up hope in continuing to search for Shai, her beloved Yorkshire Terrier. The dog had been picked up by an animal control officer, Kristin Bousquet, who scanned the dog's identification microchip and ignored the information it contained. She gave the dog to friends, as a gift. Meanwhile, Torren continued to search until she found a record that Shai's microchip had been scanned, by Bousquet, on the very day Shai went missing. Bousquet has since been fired from her job.

You see, someone, somewhere, always knows something that may be the key to solving a crime or finding someone missing. In this case, it was a dog, but it could just as well be your sister, your nephew or some other member of your family.
This story also indicates that it only takes one corrupt government employee to wreak havoc in your life.
