Killer Kahlua Cake: Pampered Chef Recipe or Not?

Ok, does everyone ALWAYS use PC recipes at their shows? Do we have to use a PC recipe or can we use any recipe as long as we use PC products. I saw a recipe on here for Killer Kahlua Cake done in the fluted stone, but I didn't know if it is a PC recipe or not. I really want to do this recipe at a show that I have next month.

I tend to do PC recipes, but I'm open to others if the host wants something specific. The Killer Kahlua Cake is preactically a PC recipe - it's been passed along by consultants for ages (I remember doing one at a show back in 2003), and there are microwave cakes in the PC cookbooks. So go for it!

Not sure, but I think as long as you use our products it would be fine.
I have made recipes from the Betty Crocker mini cookbooks that you get at the grocery counter.. they have so many recipes that work with our stones.

Probably the biggest reason I usually do PC recipes is because they are specifically geared towards using PC tools, and the tools are all listed in the recipe. This helps me know at a glance if it will be a good demo recipe, and also serves as a checklist to make sure I don't forget any tools when packing for my shows.
The other nice thing is that when people ask about the recipe I can cross-sell cookbooks and recipe cards to them.
With that said, I am not opposed to doing other recipes.....but I don't usually give my hosts a choice on recipes - I'm pretty much sticking to one or two recipes per month.
