chefbritt said:That's interesting, because I was just reading a magazine that's on newsstands now and there was an article about DS companies, and Weekenders was mentioned along with PC as one of the "tried and true" companies to sign up with. I wonder how many people read that article and went online to sign up, only to find out they went bankrupt.

Bankruptcy is a legal status that a company can declare when it is unable to pay off its debts. It means that Weekenders Canada is facing financial difficulties and may be forced to close down.
If you have already placed an order with Weekenders Canada, you should still receive your products as they are processed and shipped by a separate company. However, future orders may be affected by the bankruptcy.
Unfortunately, due to the bankruptcy, Weekenders Canada products are no longer available for purchase through Pampered Chef parties. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
At this time, it is unclear what will happen to warranties for Weekenders Canada products. We recommend contacting the manufacturer directly for more information.
We are constantly updating and expanding our product line, but at this time, we do not have plans to offer alternative products to replace Weekenders Canada. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause.
