I have seen it ocassionaly at Costco on a road show sale and it is cheaper there. I can't remember how much cheaper it is though. When they do the road show at Costco they set up the demo table and they only have it available to purchase there for a limited time. I've seen it a few times at the Costco near my house.

Kitchen2u said:The Costco version is much smaller (it's an older model too) than the one I got. I got the lastest model (5500)...got LOTS of free stuff with it...extra container, flax seed, smoothie powder, cutting boards/spatulas (didn't need, but free), cookbooks, and more.

A Vita Mix is a high-powered blender that can blend, chop, and puree a variety of ingredients. It can also be used to make hot soups, frozen desserts, and nut butters.
This is subjective and depends on individual needs and preferences. However, many users believe that the Vita Mix is worth the price due to its versatility, durability, and high-quality blending results.
The Vita Mix is often considered superior to other blenders due to its powerful motor, durable design, and ability to blend a variety of ingredients smoothly and quickly. It also has a longer warranty and a wider range of features compared to many other blenders.
Yes, a Vita Mix can be used for juicing by blending fruits and vegetables into a smooth consistency. However, it does not extract pulp like a traditional juicer, so the end result may be thicker and more fibrous.
To ensure the longevity of your Vita Mix, it is recommended to clean it after each use by blending warm water and a drop of dish soap. It is also important to avoid blending hot liquids and to not overload the blender with too many ingredients at once.
