in theBag: Carry All or Envelopes?

In summary, the conversation was about deciding between the Carry All and the Padded Envelopes. The individual was leaning towards the Carry All because they already have a non-PC bag that can carry other items. However, they were intrigued by the professional look of the padded envelopes. Opinions were shared on which option was more useful, with some preferring the versatility of the Carry All and others liking the padded envelopes for specific items. Towels were mentioned as a possible alternative for padding items in the Carry All. There was also discussion about the possibility of getting the envelopes for free and the potential for adding them to the supply list. I need to decide between the Carry All or the Padded Envelopes.

I am leaning toward the Carry All since I have a non-PC bag that I use to carry the Round Woven or 12" Skillet when needed.

But I am intrigued by the padded envelopes.

Opinions: What is more useful? The Carry All or the envlopes??

Thanks!

I love the envelopes - a professional looking way to carry things like the DCB (fits in the small one) but they don't have handles so the still need to be put in some other bag - at least that's how I carry it. The carry all bag is more practical.

I love my new envelopes. I use them a lot already.

I would DEFINATLY get the Carry-All Tote, it's more versatile and you can use it for many more things. The padded envelopes are nice, but they seem limited to me, you can only put a few items in them b/c only a few items would fit properly... and plus. You would just have to put the padded envelopes in a tote to carry anyways, so whats the point of having the padded envelopes when product is going into a tote lol...thats just my POV. =)

I would get what uses all your points up, you can always purchase something else later. :)

If you are limited on what you have already, I would get the carry all, and pad the things you need to take with towels and such!

...like the cookware protectors. :p

I'd start with getting the carry all. Maybe they will be adding the padded envelopes to the supply list and you can get those in the future. If not, towels work fine. :)

I am hoping the envelopes end up on the supply order.

My dilemma is that right now I have 200 points (enough for the CarryAll). In order to get the add'l 100 points (so I can get the envelopes at 250 points instead) I would need to submit a show tonight that I don't have payment for yet.

I was trying to determine if the envelopes were worth it. But now I see that they don't have handles - I would still need some kind of bag to put them in. The Carry All would be more practical.

Thanks for the opinions!

If you can get the envelopes FREE I would get those then plan on ordering the Carry-all tote. We can't be sure they are going to offer the envelopes for us to purchase. I have a feeling they will, but we don't know. I use them both and like them in conjunction with each other.

Side note: I put my large envelope (with the 12" SS skillet) and my knife bag into the cranberry tote from July. Looks great, and works well!

I think I am going to get the CarryAll Tote cuz I don't like the envelopes NOT HAVING HANDLES. I think I will get more use outta the CarryAll.
