Ideas for Specials/Discounts for September Sales to Get My Bag!

In summary, Pampered Chef is looking for ways to keep their regular customers interested in ordering. They are trying different things such as going out and doing a booth at a local flea market, but they have found that they make the most money by overing $20 more in free products for customers who book a show within the next month. With no shows on the books yet for this month, I am looking for ideas to entice my regular customers to place some orders. Want to get my going places bags.
 
Have tried going out and doing a event booth. I started doing booths every other weekend last month and now I have 5 shows booked this month and more in the next couple months. All these where gotten at a local flea market for $10 booth and I have done over $300 in sales from only like 5 booths that I have done. I get people to book on the spot by overing $20 more in free product if the book within the next month.
 
You can do a fall recipe tasting and invite your past hosts within the week. Give a prize/discount/something to anyone who will book a show this month.
 
Pamper a business - host your own show - have a sale (I did this for August but I put it on as a 30th birthday sale) - call past pantry guests and see if they need to reorder - call past hosts and extend their 10% discount this month onlyIt's also still not too late to book a couple shows for this month!! GET ON THE PHONE!
 
sorry this is so lengthy, but I just had to share it:
1. Send a catalog to a co-worker or friend who has moved.2. Send a catalog to reps from other party plans and ask to exchange shows.3. Post a catalog in the teacher's lounge at your child's school.4. Post a catalog in the employee's lunch room. 5. Hold an open house.6. Have a booth at a church bazaar.7. Advertise in your alumni newsletter and/or local newspaper.8. Tie together with curly ribbon.118. Booking Necklaces - String inexpensive door prize items on curly ribbon. Hang 6 around Host's neck. As guests arrive, let her explain that she needs to give them all away so she can win a special gift. She can only give them to her friends who will book a show for her. Those who decide to book first get first choice of which necklace they want. They wear around their neck so you can see who already wants a show

Thanks for the great ideas. Could you please describe #51, stack the host? Can you also expand on #97, 98 and 115? Guess I better get my butt in gear!
 
#51 Stack the Host....at a show, you want the guests to have a visual of all the items a host can earn. So take an "average host rewards" and stack those products or the value of the Host rewards onto the host at that show. For example, open the catalog to the page showing the Host Rewards. You'd be taking all of those products on that picture and stack them in the host's lap one at a time, and then tell everyone that the host of an average show will receive all of these products for just $xxx (i don't have the catalog in front of me, so I don't remember the cost).It's a visual. #115....Invite folks who need a job. When you are doing your host coaching, as you discuss guest lists, be sure to make mention of inviting anyone she knows who may need to earn some extra money or needs a job- so that the person can hear about the business opportunity.I don't know about #97 -98.
 
#97 - you talk to some local businesses that might want to use you as a way to give their employees gifts for the holidays, anniversaries, etc. Sort of the same way that people work with realtors.
