I Have to Take a Blood Test in the Morning

In summary, when preparing for a blood test, it is crucial to follow any specific instructions given by your doctor or healthcare provider. This may include avoiding food and drinks (except water) for 8-12 hours before the test, as well as refraining from strenuous exercise and alcohol 24 hours prior. It is generally safe to take prescribed medications before the test, but it is important to inform your healthcare provider of all medications you are taking. The length of the blood test can vary, but on average it takes 5-10 minutes. While most people experience little to no pain during the test, a small prick or pinch may be felt when the needle is inserted. After the test, you can resume your normal diet and activities

So I'm up all night, studying for it. The doctor told me it's a fast test, which is good so I can get it over with.

Any suggestions of what I should be studying? I hope it's multiple guess and not essay. (I'd hate writing in blood, it doesn't make acceptable copy for my publisher.)

Oh KG!! Go to sleep!! I hope you get it over with "fast"!!

I'm so nervous that I just keep drinking water.

lol. Hope you "pass". :D

Maybe you will have a cute nurse giving you the test!

If you are like me and like to munch when you study for anything...just put the mouse down and go take a nap (seems to be the only time I dont find myself snacking...LOL). I found that if you drink warm chicken stock, you get nutrition that sort of fills you up while your fasting and it does not obscure the test in any way. Just a tip...

Here is another tip...dont run with scissors. They'll have to do allot more then just a Blood test on you...
