A guest at my show today asked me about how the shrimp was prepared/seasoned in the Grill Basket on Page 15. Any ideas? I told her I would try to find out for her and e-mail her.

My understanding is that it was tossed in a bowl with oil (garlic canola or olive) and one of the PC seasonings/rubs and then grilled in the basket. You would think I would have tried it by now.... :blushing:

Sure, I'd be happy to share the recipe for the shrimp in the Grill Basket on Page 15. Here's how it's prepared:Ingredients:- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined- 2 tablespoons olive oil- 2 cloves of garlic, minced- 1 teaspoon paprika- 1/2 teaspoon cumin- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder- Salt and pepper to tasteInstructions:1. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, and chili powder.2. Place the shrimp in a large bowl and pour the marinade over the shrimp. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly.3. Cover the bowl and let the shrimp marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.5. Place the marinated shrimp in a grill basket and season with salt and pepper to taste.6. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are pink and cooked through.7. Serve hot as an appetizer or as a main dish with your favorite sides.I hope this helps and that your guest enjoys the shrimp! Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy grilling!
