I don't know if it was the date I chose or what. I decided to invite other vendors this year and have it as a holiday bazaar venue. I rented a local grange and invited vendors to rent table space. The cost of their table covers advertising the event too. I have had a big response. I think I am at 9 vendors joining me now. I am having them invite their clients as well.

I have one set up for November 3rd. I have 10+ vendors coming and a caterer and a doula. We are having it in a hall with a bartender. The caterer is bringing
samples of hot appetizers so all the vendors will bring a dessert. I am thinking of having hot apple cider. I am so excited!!!! I got the hall for FREE along with the bartender!!!!!
To ensure a successful turnout, we recommend sending out invitations at least 2-3 weeks in advance. You can send physical invitations or create an event on social media. Be sure to include the date, time, location, and any special instructions or requests (such as bringing a dish to share).
Finger foods and appetizers are always a hit at a holiday open house. You can also offer a mix of sweet and savory options. Consider incorporating seasonal flavors and ingredients, such as pumpkin, cranberries, or peppermint. Don't forget to accommodate any dietary restrictions of your guests.
One idea is to set up a hot cocoa or cookie decorating station where guests can create their own treats. You can also plan a holiday-themed game or activity, such as a white elephant gift exchange or a gingerbread house decorating contest.
You can create a festive atmosphere with simple decorations like string lights, candles, and holiday-themed tableware. You can also incorporate seasonal elements like pinecones, holly, or ornaments. Don't forget to add some holiday music to set the mood!
Plan ahead and enlist the help of friends or family members to assist with preparations and hosting. Consider using disposable or easy-to-clean dishes and utensils to minimize cleanup. You can also set up a self-serve drink station to free up your time to mingle with guests.
