Help Needed: Hosting an American Idol Theme Party

Hi Everyone,

I have a host who wants an American Idol theme.

I don't really watch this show much (wathched the first season) so I don't have any ideas of how to do a theme show about it.

Please help if you can!

I am thinking maybe have 3 judges Judge different meals w/ your products. Not sure on how that show will go because I love Idol . So I stay home for that. But good luck.

I also thoought of somthing you can make a meal on according to where the contests live . Like Taylor Hicks (some southern dish) I have no idea I am just trying to help lol

Maybe bake cookies on a stone and the same recipe on a metal cookie sheet so that the judges can vote for their favorite! Have the host put cookies on the stackable cooling racks! Don't reveal which is the stone -baked till they put in their votes. They should vote for our cookies and not the ones baked on metal since ours come out perfect every time!

You could have them wear AI tshirts to the party or if they are adventurous they could dress as their fav Idol (I would NEVER be that adventurous, but some are).

If you could find a AI trivia game you could give prizes for the most answers. I did this with word search the other day and the one that finished first got a prize and then I told them to all finish and let me know as they finished and gave the last person a prize. If you found and Q&A game about AI, you could give out candy as the people answer and the one with the most candy at the end wins a prize.

There is a post on here somewhere that tells you a website to go to that you can use your own words to create word puzzles.

Set up a game...first, let 1 or 2 people choose to be a judge, give them a door prize. Then, have everyone else pick a product and have to explain why they love it (and don't do something about how they hate it....but do the worst job at explaining why they love it....like to be stupid, they always have those people who think they are doing a great job and they are bad!!).... and then whoever the judge picks to be the winner(s) (of the best & "worst") gets a more expensive item....

I'm thinking you should make them "Sing for their supper" and actually do karaoke or something! Change the lyrics to the songs to make them about our products! How much time do you have to prepare for this?Had your host heard of an AI show having been done before, or does she want you to make one up???
