My husband's grandma is not doing well. She has been diagnosed with congestive hear failure, and is having repeated issues with her legs and feet swelling. My husband sent me a text a little while ago and said her ankles are almost the size of baseballs.

She is 92, will be 93 in Feb, and still lives alone, well her 70 son also lives with her, but he can't live on his own.

Thank you

Prayers said.

Thank you for the prayers. She is doing much better now, and even wanted to go to the mall last week.

for sharing about your husband's grandmother. I am so sorry to hear that she is not doing well and is dealing with health issues. It must be difficult for your husband and your family to see her in this state. As a pampered chef consultant, I wanted to offer some suggestions for meals that may be helpful for her condition. Congestive heart failure often requires a low-sodium diet, so I recommend focusing on fresh, whole foods and avoiding processed and packaged foods that are high in sodium. You can also try incorporating herbs and spices to add flavor without the added salt.In terms of swelling in her legs and feet, it is important for her to elevate her legs whenever possible and to stay hydrated. Foods that are high in potassium, such as bananas, can also help reduce swelling. Additionally, I recommend consulting with her doctor for any specific dietary restrictions or recommendations.I will keep your husband's grandmother in my thoughts and send positive healing vibes her way. Take care.
