Fundraising Incentives: Motivating Top Sellers Without Breaking the Bank

In summary, effective incentives for top sellers in a fundraising campaign include gift cards, exclusive products, free shipping, and recognition through social media or a personalized thank-you note. To motivate top sellers without spending too much money, you can offer low-cost incentives such as a free product or a small gift card, recognize them publicly, and provide a fun and competitive environment. Other creative ways to incentivize top sellers include offering a VIP experience, hosting a special party or event, and allowing them to choose their own reward. To track and measure the success of your incentive program, set specific goals and track individual sales, and gather feedback from your sellers. What type of incentives do you personally offer top sellers for your fundraising groups? I remember Tupperware doing this when I participated in one in HS.

I am thinking a choice between a $25 gift card to Starbucks, Target or Best Buy (haven't decided which to offer) or in product for the top seller. Then a drawing for each $50 or $100 (haven't decided which) for another prize.

I know my director is successful with that with a band she works with, but she's done it with them for years and they even buy the prize (an ipod). I am thinking of approaching a few new groups, esp a new HS about 10 mins from here and I don't think they could afford yet. I want to offer something to motivate, but don't want to break the bank.

I also thought of the option that if it was okay w/the band director, I could mention that the GCs would be for the band fundrasier and maybe I could get a discount or donation from SB or whoever.

Thoughts?? What has worked for you??

Thanks!

What I am currently doing for my fundraiser is a $25 gift card to store of their choice and a pizza party for the top selling team (the fundraiser is being done by 6 volleyball teams at a high school). Therefore I am spending about $100 out of pocket and there is an incentive for everyone that anyone can earn. Let us know what you choose!

I like that Alison! I think I will let them know the "store of their choice" includes PC :) You never know, I might have a senior needing stuff for their apt after graduation.

Thanks!
