I am doing a fundraiser for a school sports group. I have packets made up with a catalog and order forms. Does anyone have a letter that they put in the packets the kids take home?

Hey chefLaniCheck out the thread 1 up from this one (look for the yellow triangle with exclamation mark).

Scott from Washington state has some great ideas (and letters to parents) and an OSOF you will love!!!

Hi there,Great job organizing a fundraiser for your school sports group! It's always important to support our school teams and help them reach their goals. When it comes to including a letter in the packets, here are a few tips to keep in mind:1. Keep it short and to the point. Parents and students are busy, so they may not have time to read a lengthy letter.2. Include a brief overview of the fundraiser. This could include the purpose of the fundraiser, the goal you are trying to reach, and how the funds will be used.3. Provide instructions on how to participate. Be sure to include details on how to order and pay for items, as well as any important deadlines.4. Highlight any incentives or prizes. If there are any rewards for top sellers or participation, make sure to mention them in the letter.5. Express gratitude. It's always nice to thank the recipients for their support and participation. Here's an example of a letter you could include in the packets:Dear Parents and Students,We are excited to announce our school sports group's annual fundraiser! This year, we are selling a variety of products from our catalog to help raise funds for new equipment and uniforms. To participate, simply fill out the order form included in this packet and return it with payment by [deadline date]. We also have an online ordering option available for your convenience. We are offering some great incentives for our top sellers, so be sure to check out the prizes listed on the order form. Every purchase, big or small, makes a difference and we appreciate your support.Thank you for helping us reach our fundraising goal and supporting our school sports group. We couldn't do it without you!Sincerely,Best of luck with your fundraiser!
