Finally Trying to Figure Out Photobucket

In summary, Garden Girl says that you can do it if you use Photobucket. You need to copy the link to the picture, right click and scroll to 'copy', then go to the internet for here that you left to go do that. Right click and scroll to 'paste' and click on it until some numbers and letters appear. Keep writing or post right away!

Okay - does this work?
100_1201-1.jpg
YEA! It worked! Here is a picture of my beautiful boy - except this is from his last year birthday - he was "helping" me decorate the cake!

Yes, now please tell me in Laymans terms how the heck you did it! PLEASE!!

Yup! What a face!

Save the photo in photobucket, also good to resize it down one while there.

Then copy the link it posts below it starting with the [ IMG ] and copy it into your message.

Last Years BirthdayIt was a John Deere Birthday Party - Micah found this cake in a TOH magazine, and picked it out himself - it's also about as creative as I get with cakes!

More Pictures! These are a couple pictures from our Camping Trip last September (so ignore the date on the pics - we always forget to reset that when we change the batteries!)
We were at Petoskey State Park - on the Grand Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan - one of our favorite vacation spots!

Not me, but of course she had linked me to a picture on her church website of her about a year ago...

It's always funny to hear how you look in other people's minds.....:D I'm just wondering why you all thought I was a brunette?DH, and the rest of my family, would tell you that I am a total blonde! Funny thing about being blonde - both of my parents are brunettes with hazel eyes - I am a throwback to my paternal grandma, with the blonde hair and blue eyes.

I wrote another version of The Photo Thread for Help Find The Missing.

Here's how Garden Girl translated it for the masses:

GardenGirl said:
Since we're not talking about sex after all, I will tell you in Blonde-Speak how to do it. KtichenGuy told me yesterday, and it's easy as anything.

1. pull up an internet and come here. Start your writing, and stop when you want a pic.
2. pull up another internet and go to photobucket.com. sign up, it's free. Go up top and search for what you want in the little white window. For example, if you type in 'funny', 7 million pics will pop up. Find one you want.
3. Scroll a little down from the pic, on the left, are horizontal boxes with numbers and letters in them. The bottom one is 'IMG' I think, or one of them is. Click on it and it will highlight, and a little flash yellow "copied" will come and go.
4. Right click and scroll to 'copy'. Click on it. Stop.
5. pull up the internet for here that you left to go do that.
6. right click and scroll to 'paste' and click on it until some numbers and letters appear.
7. keep writing, or post right away!!
8. hope for the best!!

You can do it, I know you can!!
GG

She went on to say...

No offense taken at all, you're compliments are lovely.
I'm not computery, so I have to get things down to my level in order to understand what the hell is going on.
If I would put down my butterfly net, my husband assures me I'd have better luck.
GG

I hope her translation helps. If it does, Lord help us all.

Becky, I agree, it is nice to see you, and I also had pictured you as a brunette. Wierd huh!? It's so fun to see your pictures. We should ask Greg to start a photo sub-area thingy (I know there is a photo part, but no-one uses it).

We LOVE Meijer gardens, so I just had to share these pictures!

IMG_2137-2.jpg

This one is from Last July ('07) DD was 3 1/2, DS was almost 2 1/2

IMG_0047-2.jpg

This one is from April of 2006 - Easter weekend, we had such gorgeous weather!! DD was almost 2 1/2.

I can't wait to go back sometime this Summer...

Annabel - We love Meijer Gardens too! When we went in March last year - it was unseasonably warm - DS was even getting overheated.
This must be a required picture to take of the kiddos!:D

And here is another one from The Gardens:

I had to post my cake picture here, because it would be too humiliating to post it in the Baking thread with all of those cakes!

And, I'm a little biased - but I think both of my boys are so cute! Now that DS is 4, and is looking more like a little boy, we hear comments all of the time about how much he looks like DH!

Luke is having a Barnyad party on Saturday. Can u give me the directions on what u used for pig cupcake? What's that for the nose? I got some farm animal sugar coated marshmellows to put on top of his cupackes since he asked for cake and cupcakes but those are just the cutest that you did!

Jen - the ears are the pink Mike n Ikes....or Good & Fruitys...I can't remember - but those theater candies. The eyes are brown mini M&M's. The nose is one of those pink mint candies...I forget what you call those too - but I found them in the candy aisle at the grocery store...and the nostrils are mini chocolate chips attached with a little icing.

The ducks were really cute starting out, but it was very warm that day - and they started drooping really badly!
