Jessamary said:I knew someone from Litchfield. Do you know Joy Hendricks? I think she has a sister named Kay.
crystalscookingnow said:Sounds familiar. What age range would they be?
Jessamary said:Let's see. Joy is my age (we went to college together), so that would make her 29. Her sister is a few years younger.

Was 3 weeks late being born (in 1963 they really didn't care how late a mom really was)
45 minutes late getting to the church for my wedding (stopped at Hills Dept. Store to do some last minute shopping)
Will die here also - I will be late for my funeral and this is how I want my tombstone to look like (I do not know this person - I received an e-mail with this picture attached)

Moved a mile down the road into the neighboring county(still counted as White Oak). Married in 1995, moved to Fayetteville, NC. Moved to Ft. Hood/Killeen TX for 2 years. Hated it. Hubby got out of Army and we moved back to Fayetteville, NC. Moved to Ammon, NC after our son was born. Ended up in Bladenboro, NC and are relatively happy here(with the exception of nosy neighbor who does not understand the concept of private property ownership and thinks it is her job to patrol the neighborhood for "appearences" and town officals that seem to kowtow to the old people and my neighbor to the point of running new businesses out of town). Hubby is also a huge Carolina Hurricanes fan.
