Did Your Site Just Pay for Itself?

In summary, the time it takes for a site to pay for itself can vary, but on average it takes 3-6 months. When a site has paid for itself, it means that the sales generated have covered the initial cost and it is now generating profit. There is no specific number of sales required for a site to pay for itself. Tracking earnings can help determine when a site has paid for itself. After a site has paid for itself, it continues to generate profit and can help increase income and attract more customers.

I have an aquaintance that loves our products. She had hoped to do an HWC fundraiser but our schedules did not work out. I just got email that she placed an online order for almost $300 in product. This order alone pays for my 6 months for the website. I'm so excited. My director was not at home so I just had to share my news with someone. :D
