....and it's my mom! What to do about it? I can't unfriend her. But she's driving me crazy. She's always mentioning things from my friends and comments I make on their statuses. Any of y'all have this issue with a friend or relative?

I think there is a way you can make a seperate group and then she cannot see everything. Only the stuff you include her on.

You can change your settings so that she specifically can only see certain things. I'm not sure how but I know it can be done somehow.HUGS!!!

I think you can change your settings for friends of friends to not see your posts, but not your own friends...

I unfriended my son by mutual agreement. I didn't comment on his links, but decided that I really didn't want to know that much about him -- he's 21 and in college. I still am friends with my daughter -- not on enough to cause much damage, I suppose.

Just ask her not to comment on your fb. I wouldn't be offended if I was her --perhaps she doesn't understand basic fb ettiquette -- such as 'you don't comment on your kids fb posts or those of their friends.'

Good luck!

You know the settings of who can see your posts: Friends; friends of friends, everyone, etc.? My default is "friends only, except nosey" and the only person in that group is my Mother-in-law. She was doing the same thing, clicking on & reading everything that I said on anyone else's wall & then questioning me on it. I got tired of it & just blocked it so she can't see it. The downside is, every time I go to post a new post on my wall, I have to select the little lock button & choose the "friends of friends" or "friends only" group so she can see the posts about the kids. Otherwise, her friends/family would comment on something funny that I posted & she'd be lost. LOL

It's annoying, but not so much that I will go to those extremes yet! I called her a facebook stalker the other day and she about had a fit! She was all "I am NOT a stalker" and I was all "Ummm, yes mom, you kinda are" it was rather funny. I think she may leave me alone for a while..lol!

Ohmygosh Linda I have the same exact issue. My mom does the same thing.. and she tags herself in every picture of my kids or me. GAH!! I don't really have any advice, just wanted to commiserate. :)

Oh yes!!! She does that to! Tags herself in pics that I post and pics that my friends post....even tagged herself in the pic from conference on The Pampered Chef website that I'm in.

OMG -- ok, I NEVER did that to my kids! Yikes -- so sorry Linda!!!

{{{{HUGS}}}} My son is 21 and I do not comment on his posts...well unless I am encouraging him or liking something that he is doing. He doesn't post too much and sometimes I wish I did not see his posts when he uses cuss words to be cool with his friends.

Can't imagine having that much involvement on FB. I guess that in their defense maybe they feel that relaxed with you that they feel they are doing nothing wrong. HOWEVER!! There is a limit. Again, hugs to you both!
