Anyone else have problems with the Cut N seal not working properly? had a customer say it shred her bread & didn't seal

I always push straight down (without twisting it) and then push on the part that seals it. Hope that helps!

My daughter says it works best if not over filled.:)

If the bread is even a little stale I notice mine doesn't do as well, the bread cracks. That is why I like Bunny bread best.

Also, the filling cannot - in my experience - be where the "seal" will be. Sometimes I cut, fill, then seal.

Related to Cut N Seal Issues? - Troubleshooting for Bread Shredding

1. Why does my Cut N Seal tool shred my bread instead of sealing it?

There could be a few reasons for this issue. First, make sure you are using the correct side of the tool - the side with the ridge should be facing up. Also, be sure to use a gentle, rocking motion when pressing down on the bread. If the bread is too thick, try cutting it in half before using the tool. Lastly, make sure the bread is not too dry, as this can cause it to crumble instead of sealing.

2. My Cut N Seal tool is leaving gaps in between the sealed edges. How can I fix this?

This could be due to the bread being too thin or too moist. Try using thicker slices of bread and make sure they are not too moist. You can also try lightly brushing the edges of the bread with water before sealing to help create a better seal.

3. Can I use the Cut N Seal tool on other types of food besides bread?

While the Cut N Seal tool is primarily designed for bread, it can also be used on other types of food such as tortillas, pastry dough, and even deli meats. Just make sure to adjust your cutting and sealing technique accordingly.

4. How do I clean the Cut N Seal tool?

The Cut N Seal tool is dishwasher safe, but for best results, we recommend hand washing with warm soapy water. Pay special attention to the ridges on the cutting side to ensure all food particles are removed.

5. My Cut N Seal tool is not cutting through the bread. What should I do?

This could be due to the blade being dull. Try sharpening the blade with a knife sharpener or replacing the tool altogether. Also, make sure you are using a firm and even pressure when cutting through the bread. If the bread is too hard, you can also try microwaving it for a few seconds to soften it up before using the tool.
