One of the ladies in my cluster won the shopping spree and she got the golden ticket and my director said she got the 7 piece stainless steelcookware set.

My director's husband also won the shopping spree and they too got the SS cookware. She also got a whole bunch of other stuff.

Yes, in wave 2 everyone had gotten it so far and they announced later that it equaled the new cookware.

My number was picked - on the next color bus...

Someone mentioned (after wave 1) that they had done the shopping spree differently this year b/c of the warehouse being redone. How was it different and what did they do? Just curious.

Cathy, they had people get in a machine that blew tickets around. people had 90 (i think) seconds to grab as many tickets as possible and the tickets all equaled stuff...

Everyone got a number and each bus had a winner. The winner stood in a telephone booth like thing with slips of paper with products on them. Then they turned the air on and the slips of paper went all over. Whatever the person had in their hands or in their apron pocket was theirs to keep.

Last year, one person per bus load got the shopping spree in the warehouse.
All the folks from that bus just stood and cheered the winner on. They had a limited amount of time to run past the products and grab them, and toss them into huge rolling bins. They reminded me of the laundry carts that you see in an industrial or hospital setting. They had several staff folks helping the winner get the items into the rolling bins. I know one of our CS members was a winner last year, so I will not go into further details. She will probably tell you her success story and the value of her products. It sounds as though last year the winners had more choice, if they could move fast enough to the areas where the items they most wanted were located. The stretch of wall
of products was at least 100 ft. in center, and 50 ft. on the two sides, and
many shelves high.

Yes, they did the shopping spree like that since the warehouse is under construction.
My cluster-friend won a spree from the serve it up squad....so fun to watch! She got the golden ticket too. I'll have to email to see what else she got; they wouldn't even let her look through all the tickets!
