QUESTION #199999...LOL.....Can I close an APRIL SHOW IN MAY? PLEASE tell me I did read that somewhere.....please please please!

Yes you can. I believe that in order for your guests to get the host special, it has to be closed my midnight on the 5th. I could be wrong on that, but yes, you can close an April show in May.

Is that true? It needs to close by the 5th to get the host special? I am meeting her on the 3rd so that should be fine...but my director isn't home!!..BTW TY TY TY!

Okay, I know you can close an April show up to the last day of May...but I thought (and I could be wrong!) that you had to close it before the 5th to get the host/guest specials. I closed a February show March 2nd, and everything was cool, but my director told me there was something going on that I had to have it closed by the 5th. I don't remember. Everyone here that reads this will straighten it out for both of us! That's why I love it here!

You have until the last day of May to close an April show, and the guests will receive the special whenever you close as long as it is closed by May 31, and dated as an April show.

The deadline of the 5th is for various consultant promotions.....like with the upcoming Fall Sellathon - shows must be held June 1 - 30, and submitted by midnight July 5th....etc....

Some consultants tell hosts that shows must be submitted by the 5th for guests to get the special, as a way of insuring that they (consultant) get whatever consultant special is going on at the time......not actually the truth - just more of a CYA..........

And really, a host should be able to close a show with that amount of time.....(in a perfect world!)

Thanks for clarifying! I knew it was something with the 5th, but not sure what it was. In a perfect world, my hosts would be prepared to close the day of the show. Has only happened once so far.
