Can a Consultant Also Serve as a Fundraiser Chairperson?

I am having a PC Fundraiser. I am also part of the committee in which the funds are being raised. Can I be the chair person as well as the consultant?

I don't see why not. We're encouraged to do HWC fundraisers. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
