Just thought I would share a tip. I drink alot of sweet tea and I always make mine in the classic batter bowl. A guest told me about this and I love it. No more watching the pot to make sure it doesn't over boil, the bags never bust and the tea turns out great. I fill it w/ water, add 3 family size bags and microwave it for 8 minutes.

that's the way I make mine - except I use Splenda. Yum!

When it's done I add sugar to the bottom of my 2 quart quick stir pitcher, pour the hot tea on top and stir. I let it cool and then add ice. It's so easy and no more hot tea dripping on my counter when I remove the bags.I love the batter bowl for making tea too! It's so much easier than using a pot, and it's great for making sun tea too. I just fill up the batter bowl with water, add my tea bags, and set it outside for a few hours. It's pretty much the same as making tea on the stove, but it's so much easier! Thanks for the tip!
