Beware of Creative Spam: Don't Open!

In summary, the spammers are getting more creative and people are getting dumb enough to open the emails.

The blasted spammers are getting too creative.

I just had a message that had the subject line Re: Discounts at online store.

Even though it looked suspicious, it also looked juuuussssssstttt believable enough to be a customer asking about the online outlet.

It's a plug for a Canadian drug service. Don't open it.

I'm trying to remember--is the red zone for loading and unloading of passengers only, or is that the white zone? I'm laughing just thinking of that exchange. I'm always disappointed when it doesn't happen at the airport.

Voiceman: The red zone is for immediate loading and unloading
of passengers only, there is no stopping in the white
zone.
Voiclady: NO! The white zone is for immediate loading and
unloading and there is no stopping in the red zone.
Voiceman: The red zone has always been for loading and unloading
there is never stopping in a white zone.
Voiclady: Don't tell me which zone is for stopping and which zone
is for loading.
Voiceman: Listen Betty, don't start up with your white zone shite
again!

Anyway, the spammers are getting even more creative. The last few emails in my inbox have subject lines like, "Qualitative Bre1tling w4tches at Prest1ge Repl1cas" and "Your Pharm4cy Order #39137."Okay, they get past the spam filter (for now) but people must be dumb enough to open messages like that, otherwise, they wouldn't bother doing it.Wh4t k1nd of re4der w0uld be dum3 enough to 0pen th0se mess4g3s?

  • #19
Not me, but I enjoy laughing at the subject lines just before I assign them to the trash bin.
