I was SO excited to see this very pretty way to have the cell phones, etc in my kitchen that wasn't just a cluttered mess of cords.
They SAY you can put up to 7 devices. HAHAHAHAH...NOT! I am lucky to get 3! I just finished putting the smallest power strip I could find in the back, like they say you should be able to do. It has a 3ft cord (smallest I could find). Problem is, when you start putting the charger plugs into the strip, I can only get THREE on it because the Ipad, Iphone chargers are bulky...I've got one that is a long rectangle, and the other is the small square. These are older generation products, so perhaps that is why they are bigger than PC apparently expected. Then my Android phone charger is a small rectangle, that at least was sideways, versus long. But because of the size of these chargers, I can only get 3 on the strip I have. BUT to make it even more fun, when I went to slide the power strip in the cubby hole in back, I could NOT get it in because the charger cord (USB end) for the ipod sticks out the top. I had to remove it, put the power strip in, and then try to maneuver it into the slot underneath...that was fun. I got it. But needless to say, I am not overly happy with the product. It does NOT do as advertised in my opinion- at least not as many devices as they say. If I find a different power strip (designed for bulkier plugs like most) and maybe figure out a way to hide it somewhere else??, I could then thread the cables up, but I'm not sure how I could hide the power strip/plugs.For the price, it should be bigger to accommodate those cords like they say. I don't think I'll recommend it for anyone looking to hold that many devices! I have 2 phones, and can plug in an ipad or ipod if need be. Glad I only paid half price for it.Anyone else get theirs and have issues?
