Attention Chef Ann (And Other Trifle Lovers!)

In summary, the best way to assemble a trifle is to layer cake, fruit or pudding, and whipped cream or custard. It can be made ahead of time and any type of cake can be used. Berries are the ideal fruit to use, but any fruit can be substituted. Trifle can also be made in individual servings using mini trifle dishes or mason jars.

I pulled down your recipe file full of trifle recipes, went to the store and left my DH home with ingredients and a trifle bowl. I went scrapbooking for the day! We didn't remember to photograph it until it was almost gone. This is the chocolate raspberry trifle after it went to a wine tasting with us. It was a big hit. THANK YOU for all that you share with us. I was a hero!!!
