1St Show as a Consultant, Have a Question

In summary, the person had their first show as a host two weeks ago and decided to become a consultant the next day after researching and discussing with their spouse. They are now wondering if they will receive any discounts for hosting a show for their friend. However, they are informed that as a consultant, they do not receive the booking benefit, but they do get a 20% discount on products. The person suggests hosting their own show to earn free products instead of using their discount. They are also reassured that they will receive many benefits from the company and commission that they will not miss the booking benefit. Another person also gives their advice and wishes the new consultant good luck with their business.

I had my first show as a host two weeks ago and decided to become a consultant the next day (after a lot of researching and discussing with hubby) so one of my friends who was at my show is havng a show (actually a few of my friends are) my question is, do I get any kind of discount, other than the obvious comission I would get.

No, as a consultant you do not get the booking benefit(even if your party was before you signed) Sorry.

I posted this in the shout box but you get so much more out of this business! If you need more products without paying for them, have a kick off show. You just had a party but you can use this show as practice to help you out.

You do not get the booking benefit. I did this same thing when I signed up. You do get a 20% discount off products for being a consultant but I always host a show of my own to earn the things I want for free instead of using my discount. And you will eanr SO MUCH stuff during the qualification time when you meet the goals Pampered Chef sets for you that with that and the commissition you will not miss the booking benefit at all! :D

Welcome, Pam and Jennifer's advice is the truth! Good luck with your business!
